Please remember before you bid that BidSL provides a venue only  for Second Life residents to auction their goods and services. As such, BidSL does not own the items or services being offered and therefore has no control over the quality or fitness of the item/service offered. As with any online auction venue, all bidders bid at their own risk. BidSL provides a feedback and commenting area that bidders should consult before bidding to see if the seller or item has feedback from a previous transaction. In addition, BidSL recommends that you read the auction item/service description carefully, and that you search the seller's username and read their Second Life profile information for more information regarding the length of time they have been a Second Life resident, etc. Unfortunately, BidSL cannot be responsible for the actions or in-actions of other residents in Second Life and therefore cannot provide refunds to bidders/buyers who are dissatisfied with the item or service they have won.

If you have a concern  with an item or service you have won, BidSL recommends that you contact the seller (person who listed the auction) to attempt to work it out. Most sellers will be happy to ensure your satisfaction. If you still are unsatisfied, please leave appropriate comments on the BidSL feedback/commenting area to warn others of your experience. If you feel that you have been cheated or that the seller has taken your money under false pretenses, you should contact Linden Lab (Second Life) and report the incident to their abuse department.

BidSL has zero tolerance  for thieves, con men, and troublemakers. Please make certain to contact us directly to let us know of a serious problem with someone using our service so that we can ban them from accessing our service in the future.
